My name is Maja [maya] and I share my time between Sweden and USA.
I have been involved with Personal Growth, Communication and Leadership Development since 1991.
Trained as a psychotherapist and Integral Coach® in California, I also draw insight and solutions from Nonviolence, Neuropsychology and Nondual wisdom traditions.
My personal journey has spanned Mindfulness and Heartfulness, energy work (Breathwork, Kundalini), years of “talk therapy”, and decades of weekly conscious dance practice (Core Connexion, Soul Motion). I worked and lived NVC for a decade, which led me to deep study and experimenting with systemic, principled Nonviolence. I navigate “a path less traveled” each day in my lifestyle choices and commitment to serving life.
Along with working with individuals’ process, I have held various roles within nonprofit leadership and project management, owned and managed a several small businesses, and been actively involved in the community aspect of “The Great Turning”.
For the last 7 years, I served as a lead trainer and coordinator in North America region for a project of bringing Heartful Communication of practitioners of Heartfulness Meditation.
